Get ready Melbourne city slickers, your ho-hum lunch break is about to get interesting. The food magician behind Sydney's KOI Dessert Bar, Masterchef's Reynold Poernomo is setting up a pop-up shop in the heart of Melbourne's CBD.

Reynold and his brothers, Arnold and Ronald, are not only the brains behind KOI Dessert Bar but also slick bar and Asian-inspired eatery, Monkey's Corner in Sydney's thriving Kensington Street, Chippendale. So, naturally the Melbourne pop-up will also feature a number of Monkey's Corner favourite savoury eats.

The KOI Dessert Bar and Monkey's Corner pop-up will be located in Melbourne's award-winning EQ Tower on the ground floor as part of the new Asian hawker-style dining space, HWKR.

Eats from the pop-up will include signature dishes from KOI and Monkey's Corner, think: Monkey's Corner's ox tongue with chives and lime and KOI's famed espresso mousse 'nomtella' cakes.

The KOI Dessert Bar and Monkey's Corner pop-up will be open from February 8 until the end of April 2018 and is located at EQ Tower, Ground Floor, 137 A'Beckett St, Melbourne.
