In other sugar-related news, Parisian patisserie Ladurée are launching an Australian-inspired macaron exclusive to our shores. The flavour? No, it's not lamington, pavlova or - thankfully - meat pie, but the much more palatable macadamia. To celebrate the launch, Ladurée enlisted the services of Australian illustrator Kerrie Hess to design a limited edition Sydney-inspired gift box. Filled with macadamia macarons, it will be available in the Woollahra and Westfield Sydney stores from May 11.
