Following on from its mammoth success over the last two years, Wine Island is returning to Sydney this November. For those who haven't been before (is there anyone?), Wine Island is pretty self-explanatory: It's an entire island dedicated to wine and the drinking of wine, a lot of it.

The three-day mini festival held on Clark Island in Sydney Harbour will also feature a range of activities like masterclasses, silent discoes and treasure hunts to help pass the time whilst knocking back glass after glass of Chardonnay/Riesling/Rosé/Merlot/Pinot Noir, or all of the above (no judgement).

This year, they're even taking it up a notch, adding a Wine Island Superyacht to the mix. So if crowds aren't your thing but wine is, for $399 you can sail to the island via a detour around the glorious Sydney Harbour, before docking on land for a private masterclass and exclusive culinary experiences.

Wine Island 2017 will run from Friday, November 10 to Sunday, November 12. But while it may still be a little while away (sigh), tickets for this not-to-miss event go on sale to members on Monday, August 2 and to the general public on Friday, September 1. So mark your diaries, wine lovers.

Last year, general admission tickets started at $99 and included a glass of sparkling to enjoy whilst being ferried to and from the island (does it get any better?), masterclasses and your very own wine glass.
