

Diptyque treats for all the senses at this luxe Hong Kong high tea

Boutique hotel group The House Collective is combining the best of both with their new Diptyque La Collection 34 Afternoon Tea. Hosted exclusively at two of their award-winning restaurants - Café Grey Deluxe at The Upper House hotel in Hong Kong and Sureño at The Opposite House in Beijing - the decadent affair dishes up Diptyque candles in miniature alongside a smorgasbord of edible treats the eateries are famous for.

As would be expected, the high tea menu is a notch above the ho-hum tea, scones and sandwiches variety: delicacies on offer include orange blossom mandarin cheesecake, red velvet roll with rose and raspberries and cedar-smoked salmon quiche at Café Grey Deluxe, while Sureño's menu includes lychee raspberry tartlets, brioche with roasted peach, pecan and prosciutto and white chocolate and jasmine crème.
