Guillaume Brahimi, the award-winning, three-hatted chef bringing his star power to the newly revamped Four in Hand, knows what diners want in winter. The new winter menu at The Four in Hand by Guillaume, the Paddington Pub's new dining room, has the kind of comfort food that will coax even the most diehard homebodies out from beneath the sheets on brisk winter's nights, as well as lighter options for those of you who know that summer bodies are made in winter. Whatevs.
The treats now on the menu include cinnamon doughnuts with coffee cream and chocolate sauce (pictured above), chocolate mousse with chocolate brownie and mint sorbet, caramelised banana with peanut brittle and vanilla rice pudding with berries and raspberry sorbet. The savoury offering is equally appealing, with labne with beetroots and pumpkin seeds (below), honey-roasted duck with Jerusalem artichoke, radicchio and fennel salad and Spanish mackerel with cabbage, cauliflower and anchovy butter. If you're keen to sample Brahimi's three-hatted cooking without the three-figure prices, this is where to head.
