You'll want to spend all day at Seventeen, Walsh Bay's stunning new restaurant opening Thursday December 7. The 100-seater restaurant and deli will function as a lively café by day before transforming into a contemporary restaurant by night. Think long lunches that flow into afternoon wines and seafood dinners with a glass of cool rose in hand.

Fronted by head chef Clint Jaeger - of Tetsuya's, Banc, Bills and Hugo's, to name only a few - the menu has been meticulously curated to reflect Australia's picturesque coastline, where the venue is idyllically located. The breakfast menu spans from light and fresh dishes like bircher musli with seasonal fruit and strawberry lime consommé; and acai coco bowl with almond meal and honey salted cashews; through to deliciously indulgent plates such as ricotta hot cakes topped with Callebaut chocolate and honeycomb butter; and corn fritters with semi-dried truss tomatoes, creamed avocado puree , poached eggs and feta.

Lunch is a seafood sensation of fresh Yamba prawns and slow poached lobster roll, alongside grilled meats and tasty salads served alongside an all-Australian wine list. And dinner will see decadent dishes such as Otway crispy skin pork belly with fresh peach, candied mustard fruits and sweet potato chips; and apple duck confit with celeriac remoulade, macerated figs and summer herbs.

Seventeen opens on Thursday, December 7.
