There was a time in very recent memory (like say, last weekend), where ordering a G&T immediately dropped your cool rating so low a life ban from the slick kids' watering holes was a distinctly real possibility. But thanks to the genius minds over at Bombay Sapphire that situation is on the change up.
They've teamed up with some of Australia's cutting edge names in food, beauty and music to deliver a palette-popping, sweetly scented, surround sound trip through the world of their signature botanical-infused gin.
Each element of the epic experience calls on the ten botanicals found in a bottle of Bombay Sapphire vapour-infused gin. For your listening pleasure, Bondi DJ's Yolanda Be Cool have mixed a set of sick beats aptly named Yolanda Be Cool x Bombay Sapphire: Songs to Drink Gin To on their Spotify Channel. For sublimely scented surrounds, fragrance creator Samantha Taylor from Melbourne's The Powder Room has created a world first Bombay Sapphire scent, available to win at the Project Botanicals events. The events include mouth-watering eats paired with inspired cocktails (think: Sublime G&T with juniper compressed melon and crisp bread) curated by top chefs Tony Twitchett from Melbourne's Taxi Kitchen and Matt Fletcher from Sydney's Botanic Restaurant - to be held at Taxi Riverside in Melbourne in September and Sydney in March 2017.
The Bombay Sapphire Project Botanicals Melbourne event runs from Thursday September 8 - Sunday September 18. Head to projectbotanicals.com.au for tickets and more information.
