One of Sydney's favourite pubs Four in Hand, has reopened following a significant menu and interior facelift (not that it needed it), across the entire venue.

Executive Chef John Collins (The Royal) provides diners with an unadultered opportunity to indulge in some of the best meat and seafood on offer this side of Sydney Harbour.

Paddington's Four in Hand relaunches with an impressive new menu

You can expect top quality comfort food cooked over a charcoal grill imported all the way from Brazil, with menu heroes including a hearty rump cap 300g grain fed Angus, 1kg of live rock lobster with garlic and lemon and the quarter suckling pig.

But you won't be able to go past seafood staples like linguine with crab, tomato and chilli and classic go-to side dishes like onion rings with vinegar salt and indulgent mac and cheese. And when the dessert menu features a signature 'banana split' caramelised and topped with chocolate parfait and peanut butter ice cream, you know you won't be leaving disappointed, or hungry for that matter.

The impressive menu is complimented by newly refreshed interiors by designer Amandine Odouard (Bar Moncur, Bistro Moncur). Odouard has stayed true to the heritage-listed pub's quintessential elements whilst adding chic contemporary fixtures such as rich timbers and quilted leather paneling on the walls, off-set by brass detailing to create a warm and cosy atmosphere.

We're not lying when we say this backstreet Paddo' pub is as fancy as they come. Hot tip: Look out for their weekly specials which includes a Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

Four in Hand is located at 105 Sutherland Street, Paddington. Bar: 11am - 10pm, seven days. The Grill at The Four: Dinner, Tuesday - Sunday, 6-10pm // Lunch, Thursday - Sunday, 12-3pm
