Tella Balls Dessert Bar, home of the heart-stopping dessert concoction of Nutella, doughnut and thickshake known as the Tella Ball shake has reinvented another Aussie classic: fish and chips. But as with anything that comes out of this Willy Wonka-esque kitchen it's not fish and chips as you know it. Instead of regular white-fleshed fish dipped in batter and flash fried for maximum crunch or potato fingers cooked to crispy perfection, Tella Balls' 'fish' is shallow fried house-made vanilla bean ice cream reminiscent of fave Chinese dessert deep-fried ice cream and the 'chips' are made of Tella Balls' famous crunchy doughnut with a soft doughy filling. On the side there's 'tartare' sauce made from white Belgian chocolate and of course a Nutella 'dipping sauce' option too.

Tellafish and chips will be available from the Tella Balls Concord and Dulwich Hill stores from May 27.

Tella Balls Dessert Bar is located at 92 Majors Bay Road, Concord and 370 New Canterbury Rd, Dulwich Hill.
