How many ships have you seen with intricate iron lace?

For that matter, how many ships have you seen with interiors by design whiz Alex Zabotto-Bentley (the man whose client list includes the likes of Palazzo Versace, Vogue Italia and Diesel)? It's safe to say that Seadeck, the luxury vessel now calling Sydney Harbour home, is the first of its kind.

It's set to become a permanent fixture in our sparkling harbour and is ready and waiting to be booked for the most lavish private events (know someone who recently got engaged? Send them this link). A floating bar of the kind you won't be dying to escape from, it's the brainchild of Scott Robertson, head of Division Agency which reps Bondi's The Bucket List, Harpoon Harry and Vine Double Bay, plus Mel Como and Gavin Douchkov.

But back to that jaw-dropping design. Zabotto-Bentley was inspired by Hollywood's golden age and the elegance of vintage cruising (think superyachts in Monaco and St Tropez) for the crisp navy, charcoal and white interior, complete with palm trees. Curious? Check it out here.

All aboard! Sydney's got a luxe new floating bar
