If your vegan, lactose-intolerant or just a bona fide hipster, you're wildest dessert dreams are about to come true. Over The Moo are set to launch Australia's very first vegan (and instagram-friendly) ice-cream truck to the streets of Sydney.

The 1981 Ford Transit turned modern-day Whippy, serves Over the Moo's iconic dairy-free coconut ice-cream available in nine signature flavours. And to top it off (literally), there's also a range of delicious toppings like cookie chips, brownie bits, gooey sauces and sprinkles to add to your dairy-free delight.

"The truck is really an extension of our dream ... we wanted to get our product on the road," says Over the Moo's founder, Alex Houseman told Broadsheet. "It's an ethical and environmental thing," says Houseman. "We've [also] found that lots of people prefer the experience of eating non-diary."

And as for the nostalgic tune of the original Mr. Whippy, expect to hear a bit of a modern reboot. "We've got a hip-hop remix of the classic Mr Whippy tune," explains Houseman.

If you're keen to get your hands on some dairy-free sundaes, you can find Over the Moo's ice-cream truck at their Glebe headquarters from March 2.
