Since opening up its doors in Darlinghurst, A Tavola has Sydney's Italian cuisine for the better part of the last decade. Since then, the team has expanded its wings with an additional A Tavola in Bondi, Besser in Surry Hills, and Flour Eggs Water pasta bar in the Tramsheds.

However now that Besser has established itself footprint in the crown street precinct, owner Eugenio Maiale has decided to replace it for a second Flour Eggs Water.

Speaking to Concrete Playground, Maiale explained it was always part of the plan. "I was actually going to launch Flour Eggs Water two years ago but wasn't quite ready, so Besser happened instead, but Besser was slowly morphing into Flour Eggs Water anyway and I really want to concentrate on the one brand," he said.

The new space will focus on delivering the freshest, preservative -free organic pasta in town. With a daily-changing menu, you'll be spoiled for choice with dishes like seafood strozzapreti with prawns, pockets of fresh ravioli or the signature pappardelle.

Flour Eggs Water by A Tavola is located Shop 3, 355 Crown Street, Surry Hills.
