Hold onto your stems, because the biggest celebration of pinot noir is returning for a huge tour around Australia in the coming months. Visiting Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane, before it heads to New Zealand and Singapore, the festival of the most highly-prized and on-the-rise wine in the world, is not to be missed by any bona fide wino.

A pinot noir palooza is coming to a city near you

With drops from over 100 local and New Zealand producers, the event will cater to the connoisseurs and the curious, offering tastings and many, many a pinot yarn from some of the best winemakers and producers on the block show - including Curly Flat (Macedon), Josef Chromy (Tasmania), Ata Rangi (Martinborough, NZ), Stefano Lubiana (Tasmania), Dog Point (Fairhall, NZ) and Pegasus Bay (Waipara, NZ). The Burg Bar, which will highlight the wines of Burgundy will be in action and there will also be appearances from brewing superstars like Sample Brewing, Young Henry's and Stone & Wood, as well as a non-pinot offerings like frosé and cider.

Of course, it wouldn't be a wine festival without an epic selection of culinary parings, now would it? Punters can expect to see charcuterie, cheese, meats and more from Yarra Valley Dairy, Fromage Artisans, the Porteño group, Blackbird, Epocha, Maker & Monger and many more to be announced.  Time to start practising your best Titus Andronicus-esque peeeeeenooooooo noirrrrrr.
