Cool kid dining and cocktail swilling destination Icebergs Dining Room and Bar has teamed up with chill brewer Heineken on a stunning summer pop-up where the mantra is eat, drink, swim, repeat. Open from midday until 8pm daily (weather permitting) the pop-up features everything to love about alfresco eating and drinking set against the most recognisable stretch of sand in the world. But this isn't just any old pews with views, the eats are next level with a menu designed by culinary king Maurice Terzini and executive chef Monty Koludrovic featuring antipasto hero salumi piatti, mouth-wateringly fresh caprese salad, signature Iceburger or crispy fish burger, and of course, the classic beachside chow of salt and vinegar fries.
As for the drinks, is there anything better than a heart-pumping ocean swim followed by a thirst quenching icy cold Heineken brew or a perfectly mixed cocktail? Probably not. With brews on tap and a tightly edited cocktail list drawn from Icebergs' extensive and celebrated sipping list (think: negroni with Tanqueray Gin, Campari, antica formula; old fashioned with Bulleit Bourbon, bitters, sugar; dry vodka martini with Ciroc Vodka and Noilly Pratt) the Terrace is set to be the address of summer 2016.
