Ooh la la! Croissants and cocktails at pop-up bakery/bar La Boulangerie
#Frenchisbest
Tapping into all Sydneysiders' three favourite things - breakfast, small bars and artisan baked goods - Potts Point bistro Yellow has collaborated with Grey Goose and Luxe Bakery to present La Boulangerie, a bakery/bar concept that delivers French pastries and faultless cocktails IN. THE. ONE. PLACE.

If you're still reading and not hotfooting it to Potts Point already for a freshly baked pain au chocolat washed down with a sneaky Breakfast Martini (it is Monday, after all), allow us to explain. The baguettes, croissant and pastries are made daily using the same soft winter wheat grown in Picardy, northern France, that Grey Goose Vodka is famously distilled from. The delicious pastries are baked fresh for you to smother, should you please, with spreads infused with the luxe vodka: Grey Goose La Poire, Grey Goose L'Orange, and Grey Goose Le Citron.

The French flair doesn't end when the sun goes down - by night, La Boulangerie offers a five-course tasting menu by Yellow's acclaimed head chef Brent Savage, matched with Grey Goose cocktails or wine. To whet your appetite, dishes include Grey Goose Le Citron Cured Kingfish with cod roe and pickled celery and Pain d'Epices with Grey Goose La Poire Poached Pear and Vanilla. Next door, for three nights only Yellow and Grey Goose are hosting Salon de Martini - a bespoke martini bar with all the glamour of Paris in the belle époque.
