If you're not content with a bit of Bottega hanging in your wardrobe, consider this: it's completely possible to have the brand in your kitchen cupboards, home office and living room as well. The Bottega Veneta Home 2016 collection is now on show as part of the world's leading design fair, Salone del Mobile, in Milan - and each piece showcases the quality and craftsmanship synonymous with the luxury Italian fashion house.
Imagine the brand's Knot Clutch, for instance, perched atop the new leather-sheathed chest of drawers, its bronze handles in Bottega's iconic intrecciato pattern matching the clutch's clasp. Or lounging in the new season knitwear on the modern, square-shaped Rudi suede sofa. Yes - this is accessorising of the highest order.
Each piece in the collection, which also includes bronze tables, bronze and black leather lamps, sterling silver boxes embellished with semi-precious stones and a hand-painted porcelain dining service, was created by Tomas Maier. Materials include travertine, bronze, oak, marble, silver, suede and leather and the collection is mostly made in Bottega Veneta's furniture atelier in Vicenza, in the Veneto region of Italy where the house originated.
