Featuring the work of 17 female contemporary artists from five different continents, the east-London based exhibition entitled Terrains of the Body focusses on photographic works lensed entirely by women that look to the female form as a medium for personal and collective expression.

Exhibiting artists include Marina Abramović, art collective Icelandic Love Corporation, Nan Goldin, Shirin Neshat and Daniela Rossell, whose 1999 photo 'Medusa' may well have provided the inspiration for Kendall Jenner's 'most-liked Instagram photo of all time'.

The works, borrowed from the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, USA will be on display until the 16th of April at the Whitechapel gallery - plenty of time to book flights.
