Trending at Paris Couture: metallic eye make-up
Bright eyed
That's the message we're getting from the recently wrapped Paris Couture Week, where the runway was dominated by one key beauty look: look-at-me lids. Lips, meanwhile, took a backseat - goodbye, vibrant fuchsia and welcome back, nude.

Beauty buffs bored of the pervasive 'no make-up make-up' trend can take their colour cues from make-up maven Pat McGrath, who dreamed up a vivid green/gold eye for Versace's enchanting show. Gold lids glistened at Elie Saab as well, where Tom Pecheux gave models a modern, metallic update on the original cat-eye. At Fendi, Dior's Peter Philips had an ice queen moment, giving his girls eyes smattered with silver sparkle.
