Flash bulb skin: how to get the strobing trend right
Into the light
Step aside contouring; you're no longer a big deal. 2015 is all about highlighting. No longer are Fashion Week faces dewy-skinned: instead, courtesy of the strobe trend, they're lit by a pearlised glow from within. The strobing trend has been spotted on all the key designers' runways at Fashion Weeks around the globe - Stella McCartney, Marni and Versace to name a few. Here's how to get your glow on:
1. First Light
After moisturising, blend Giorgio Armani Light Master Primer ($75) along the nose bridge, cheekbones, brow bones and in the front part of the face near the cheeks. This gives radiance and reduces skin redness.

2. Correct and Perfect
Apply Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder Youth-Boosting Perfect Skin Foundation ($70) to the face. It provides natural light-reflecting coverage to let the light shine through. Next apply Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Coverage Concealer ($36) to blemishes and around the eye area. I love the 'second skin' look this concealer gives without looking heavy.
3. Light and Dark
To really turn up the highlight add a dash of cream bronzer, which gives a softer look than using a powder product. My all-time favourite is Chanel Soleil Tan De Chanel ($67): use with an angled blush brush under the cheekbones and lightly sweep onto the apples for warmth.
Next tap the new cult product RMS Beauty Living Luminizer ($50) along the top of the cheekbones, nose bridge and on the cupids bow to give extra bang. This cream highlighter gives an incredible mirror-like look to your face features.

4. Final touches
Keep the rest of the face natural by simply curling your lashes and adding a dramatic mascara. My pick is Lancôme Grandiôse Mascara ($54) for serious volume. Add natural definition to the brows with MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Waterproof Brow Set ($28).
Complete the look with a touch of a glossy lip tint, I like Yves Saint Laurent Volupte Tint-In-Oil ($49) in shade I Rose You or Peach Me Love.
