New year, new make-up and hair inspiration
The 2017 Golden Globes has officially kicked our favourite time of the year - award season. This year's red carpet saw our favourite movie, television and music stars arrive at the night of all nights (minus the Oscars, of course) showcasing the latest make-up and hair trends of the season.
A popped lip took centre stage this year with actresses Brie Larson and Millie Bobbi Brown and model Chrissy Teigen all sporting a bright pout teamed with neutral make-up. The no make-up make-up look was another strong trend seen on the carpet with Michelle Williams, Zoe Saldana and Jessica Biel embracing a minimalistic make-under. Emily Ratajkowski debuted a short lob hairstyle that was styled in an over-swept part, similar to actress Kirsten Bell's and Anna Kendrick's hairdo. Accents of pearly-pinks and pastels were apparent in eye make-up and lipstick choices with Emma Stone, Sienna Miller, and Elsa Pataky all including the colour into their Globe look (and we have a feeling we'll be seeing this a lot more.)
Here are our favourite hair and make-up trends from the 2017 Golden Globes red carpet:
