25 years ago, Lancôme created the L'Absolu Rouge range - an iconic lipstick that became a staple in women's handbags around the globe. And now, the luxury brand has given it a face lift - with extra shades to choose from, a sexier tube and caters to sheer, gloss, and matte fans.
With the help of international makeup artist Lisa Eldridge, there will be 50 new colours added to the existing range, which are all designed to suit multiple skin tones. "I wanted to create something very appealing and exciting. I also made sure that each colour family was well represented," Lisa explained. The newcomers to the collection are a combination of reds, nudes, punchy oranges and vibrant pinks.
But here's the best part - you can choose the finished texture for your favourite colour. So if you prefer a sheer finish for everyday wear, love a statement matte lip, or can't go past a creamy feel - all three of them can be yours.
The revived collection will be in stores October 16, 2016.
