Stacy Martin may be "Miu Miu personified" according to the fashion house, but we're afraid the 24-year-old model/actress has been overshadowed in the fragrance campaign she's famously fronting - by a cat.
In the video campaign revealed this morning, Martin fights for a gloriously oversized bottle of Miu Miu with Truman, an adorable kitten who we're really hoping comes as a gift with purchase. And purchase we will - because Miu Miu's first fragrance was undeniably worth the wait.

Taking her lead from Miuccia Prada's penchant for fusing luxury with the commonplace, perfumer Daniela Andrier played with contrasting notes to create a curiously complex floral scent. Lily of the Valley, jasmine, rose absolute and green notes meld with Akigalawood, an exclusive extract of patchouli, to give a natural earthiness to the end result. It's housed in a cushion-effect soft blue bottle reminiscent of Miu Miu's signature matelassé, topped off with a pop of vivid red - so far, so Miu Miu.

The campaign was shot by Steven Meisel, who channelled the soft-focus glamour of early '60s cinema. Martin, dressed in a Miu Miu party dress with exaggerated cat-eye make-up and '60s-style hair, perfectly embodies the defiantly girly spirit of the brand.
