This has to be one of the coolest make-up collab's we've seen in a while

Urban Decay just dropped a major make-up bomb on us; they're releasing a super limited-edition collection inspired by the late artist Jean-Michel Basquiat.

If you're not familiar with his work, Basquiat rose to fame as a graffiti artist who's work was seen all over New York city in the '80's. Basquiat's art was a mix of colourful imagery, political messages, and vibrant texts and symbols that would dabble into race, society, and other ethical issues. Basically, he was the artist of the '80's. "Like Urban Decay, Basquiat was an outsider who challenged the status quo and used colour in non-traditional ways," Says Urban Decay. "From his informal graffiti work and the way he mixed mediums and colours to the way he spoke out against social injustice, it's hard to imagine a more perfect fit for our brand."

The 12-piece collection features an array of products like eyeshadow palettes, bronzer/blush hybrid, lipsticks and eye pencils.  The packaging alone will make up you want to snap up this limited-edition collection fast. But we're unsure of the release date (or even if it will be available in Aus), so for now, click through the gallery to see the art meets make-up collection:
