Trust Spike Jonze to put a truly offbeat spin on the cliché-ridden world of perfume commercials. His new clip for French luxury label Kenzo is part genius, part batsh*t crazy - and we couldn't love it more. Created for Kenzo World by the Being John Malkovich director for the former Opening Ceremony designers Humberto Leon and Carol Lim, it stars Andie MacDowell's beautiful daughter Margaret Qualley as a bored and restless girl at a French black-tie event.

Of course, this being a Spike Jonze creation and all, the video quickly descends into choreographed madness, with Qualley proving she has the elastic features and expressive demeanour of Maddie Ziegler, star of Sia's music clips. As Qualley explores the hotel, turning her discontent into a frenzied dance, you'll be reminded of Jonze's other video masterpieces - namely, Fatboy Slim's 'Weapon of Choice' (with the one and only Christopher Walken) and Björk's 'It's Oh So Quiet'.

Watch it below and then try to tell us it's not the best perfume ad you've seen in a long time. We're predicting a rise on Google searches for Margaret Qualley, too.

This Spike Jonze-directed Kenzo video is the best thing you’ll see all day
