Who says the beauty industry doesn’t have a wicked sense of humour?

With a sly wink to fashion's current obsession with all things canine and feline, beauty behemouth M.A.C are set to launch a perfectly pooch-inspired make-up collection. Taking their cue from the best-in-show dogs around, the collection features shades influenced by only the most well-groomed pups in the business.

From golden tones that mirror an Afghan hound's long blonde mane, to pink-based nudes that surely a poodle would love, all jokes aside, the collection is surprisingly wearable. Stacked with pared-back shades of beige, mocha, chocolate and berry, the products come packaged with witty names like, 'Rare Breed', 'Labradorable', 'Posh Pedigree', 'Nose For Style' and 'Barking Gorgeous'.

The collection features popular products in the M.A.C range, such as Mineralize Rich Lipstick, Mineralize Glass, lip pencils, Mineralize Eye Shadow quads, Fluidline gel eyeliner, Veluxe Brow Liner, Mineralize Skinfinish powder, Sculpting Powder/Shaping Powder and Studio Nail Lacquer, plus four new make-up brushes.
