Helmut Lang's cult '90s fragrances are FINALLY available in Australia
It's about time
Let's flash back to 2014, when, upon the announcement that Helmut Lang's discontinued eponymous fragrance was to return to shelves, minimalists, 90s kids and nose-nerds rejoiced with the furore of a group of soccer dads at a winning under 9s game.
Sadly, on this side of the equator, that celebration was short lived. Yes, this sensual, unisex cult eau de parfum, along with it's eau de cologne sibling and hyper-sexy, leathery cousin, Curion were all to be re-released, but sadly it's taken this long for them to be widely available down under.
To those who sought the iconic lavender, rosemary and orange tree top notes; the jasmine, rose, heliotrope and lily of the valley that rang through the middle; and the sexy, powdery and woody dry down of cedarwood, Indian sandalwood, vanilla, patchouli, musk and amber, and were forced to beg friends abroad to stock up on bottles for them, we have some news. Helmut Lang is finally here, officially.
Thanks to cult scentophiles Libertine Parfumerie, who also stock some of the most hypnotic and cult-status scents in the world (no really, tread carefully, we warn you), the Helmut Lang trio are now available from various boutiques, including Harrold's Department Store and Libertine's Brisbane and Sydney arms. Just in time to slide into our transeasonal autumn wardrobes with ease. *breathes deep*
