Praised by the fashion house as "Miu Miu personified", 24-year-old model-turned-actress Stacy Martin has been chosen to front the fragrance campaign, due to be released this September. The English-French rising star has already appeared in Miu Miu's sultry 1960s-inspired autumn/winter '14 campaign, but her real claim to fame so far is her dramatic turn in Lars Von Trier's Nymphomaniac, in which she played the teenage version of Charlotte Gainsbourg's character and notoriously wore a prosthetic vagina.

It's not a feat listed on many models' resumes and it definitely got Miu Miu's attention - in a statement, the brand said: "Martin's artistic rigor and iconoclastic spirit align perfectly with the woman Prada envisions for the brand: at once refined and rebellious, but above all, fearless."

Shot by Steven Meisel, the campaign promises to be a stunner. Until then, spot Martin co-star alongside Salma Hayek in Matteo Garrone's Tale of Tales, which she'll be representing at Cannes this week.
