We all fell in love with that show's sophisticated-yet-sultry beauty look - all velvety olive skin, come-hither eyes and just-bitten lips to set off the urban and elegant ready-to-wear. "For the Fall/Winter 2015 show, Giorgio Armani wanted to highlight the beauty of a fresh woman. Very simple, apricot-toned sheer make-up with a carefully crafted healthy glow and more intense eyes create the desired effect...a beautiful Italian woman," says Armani's international chief make-up artist Linda Cantello, who created the look.
The in-demand MUA's colour possibilities were endless thanks to the innovative Lab Armani Runway - a mobile laboratory of Armani pigments and textures that allows brand new colours to be created backstage. What makes the idea really brilliant, however, is that now those colours are reproduced for the global market. Released twice a year following the ready-to-wear shows, the Armani Runway collections are timed to hit stores at the same time as the clothes and are strictly limited edition - so you better get in quick.

This season's collection - the second Armani Runway edition - consists of a blush/eyeshadow palette, $168, to give cheeks a healthy, peachy-pink glow and eyes a subtle smoky effect, with bright coral in the inner corners to enhance the effect. Cantello has ditched the black liner, favouring an intense coppery-hued liquid shadow, the Eye Tint, $68, for a softer, more exotic look. Nails match in a dark coffee shade, $48 - the season's alternative to the ubiquitous burgundy. There's also a new addition to the Rouge d'Armani Sheers range of lipsticks, $68, a translucent coral that glides on like a balm.
Highlighting the connection between the make-up and the autumn/winter '15 ready-to-wear, each product is housed in a gorgeous two-tone silk pouch fashioned from the same fabric used in the collection. Armani Runway lands in selected David Jones stores this month.
