If you're still recovering from the mass hysteria induced by the Fenty by Rihanna X Puma athleisure collection (we need those fur slides), you might want to take a seat before reading on: Rihanna is expanding her portfolio to include make-up, with Fenty Beauty launching in Sephora next year.
"Fenty Beauty by Rihanna is a beauty rocket ship that will appeal to a huge and diverse global audience," says David Suliteanu, CEO of Kendo, the LVMH division of which Sephora is a part. "We are aiming for the stars." Kendo is the company that brought Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D to the world, so Rihanna's collection is in very good hands.
It's not the singer's first foray into beauty - she collaborated with M.A.C on a limited edition RiRi Hearts M.A.C collection in 2013 and also has one of the brand's Viva Glam lipsticks under her belt. And then there's her uber-successful fragrances, of which there are now seven.
In related RiRi news, the star's third collaboration with Stance socks has just hit the shelves - but admittedly, that's one Rihanna project we struggle to get excited about.
