For his first colour collection, Dior's creative & image director Peter Philips hasn't held back, embracing the full spectrum of shades. But you don't have to reach for your (Dior, obviously) sunglasses just yet - the colours are bold but completely wearable, ranging from subtly shimmering plums and khaki shadows to peachy cheek tints and believable brow pencils. It's an extensive make-up offering that Philips has designed with versatility in mind. "The Dior woman is multi-faceted. She is a personality in constant motion, with an irresistible power of attraction," he says. "Wherever she is in the world, she can adopt the palettes or combinations of colours to match her culture, her ideals and her light."

There are two new limited edition 5 Couleurs eye palettes in the range, one based around gold and the other silver to flatter cool and warm-toned complexions. We're most excited about the new Dior Addict Fluid Shadows, which mimic the high-shine, long-lasting effects of the brand's iconic lip gloss to produce a luxe eye varnish with non-slip shimmer. "It's an incredible innovation for the eyes," says Philips. "With a single brush stroke, Dior Addict Fluid Shadow gives eyelids the lacquer-like shine of a screen of light."

Philips has also created four new Dior Addict lip colours, 5 new nail lacquers including khaki, navy blue and black, jumbo Blush Cheek Sticks to sculpt and flush the cheekbones, a radiant, lightweight DiorSkin illuminating face powder and Fix It, a multi-purpose concealer for face, eyes and lips. "Fix It is more than a make-up formula for touch-ups," says Philips. "It can be used to tone down lip colour, fade dark circles or conceal small skin blemishes." We'll take two.
