Slave to the Rhythm: Chanel's playing the blues
Chanel's take on blues is music to our ears
Moody or electric, sultry or iridescent - however you want to play it, there's no doubt that metallic make-up is stealing the spotlight this season. Now Chanel has come to the party with their Blue Rhythm de Chanel collection, a tight edit of mainly eye make-up inspired by jazz.
Black and blue has never been simpler (or more chic) thanks to two new Les 4 Ombre shadow palettes in Tisse Jazz (vibrant blues) and Tisse Smoky (moody black and grey), $98 each, new navy liquid liners and longwear luminous Illusion d'ombre shadow pots, $48 each. Feeling brave? We recommend the Cils Scintillants Jazzy Blue sparkling mascara top coat - yes, it looks electric, but the finish is more subtle shimmer than blinding blue - just the ticket for giving eyes some sparkle.

Bold eyes demand bare lips, so the collection also includes a new translucent Gloss Volume plumping lip gloss, $49, along with two brilliant blue lacquers for nails. The Chanel Blue Rhythm collection launches in Australia next week - but Sydneysiders can nab theirs early at Vogue Fashion Night Out this Thursday.
