

Model multi-tasker: why Natasha Poly doesn't use a make-up artist

Our obsession with the glamazon reached fever pitch when she posted pictures from her Great Gatsby-themed 30th all over Instagram. But it wasn't the elaborate cake, vintage Rolls-Royce or incredible grounds that attracted our gaze - we were too busy staring at Poly's picture-perfect make-up.
Because the L'Oreal Paris ambassador isn't just an accomplished poser - she's a dab hand at doing her own make-up too. In fact, she goes solo for almost all her red carpet appearances, posting selfies under her hashtag #NPolyMakeUp and occasionally sharing her secrets with amazing how-to videos (see her put together her incredible Cannes red carpet look in our clip below).

The mother to one-year-old Aleksandra isn't the only famous face who sees no need for a make-up artist - Kate Middleton famously DIYed on her wedding day and Blake Lively often goes it alone for both hair and make-up. Because sometimes, if you want something done, you just have to do it yourself.
