Correct us if we're wrong, but it seems like 'People' magazine's newly crowned 'Most Beautiful Woman in the World', Jennifer Aniston, hasn't changed in 20 years
Hollywood's eternal girl next door, Jennifer Aniston has turned a corner. At least in the eyes of the world's tabloids and mass media. Thanks to her second marriage to Justin Theroux, she's no longer just the wife scorned by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie (sorry, but it seems they'll never completely let that one go), she's also, as of today People's 'Most Beautiful Woman in the World' for 2016. Given that Jen is 47 years old and it's the second time she's been named (her first title was in 2004, aged 35) - wed say she's more than flattered with the news.
As it turns out, People are pretty good at celebrating the over-30 set - at first glance, Jen might have seemed a curious choice, but when you consider that 2015's winner was Sandra Bullock, 51, and 2013's was Gwyneth Paltrow, 40, you can start to see how they differentiate between the 'beautiful' and 'sexy' titles in gossip mag land...
But back to Aniston. Cast into our lives in 1994 as the dizzy, fashion-focused princess Rachel Green in Friends, Jen's penchant for minimalist dressing, enviable flat-ironed locks and impeccable comic timing helped push her to to the top of Hollywood's A-list. It doesn't hurt to add that America's sweetheart has kept her killer bod in phenomenal shape all these years, too. No wonder she appeals to both guys and girls.
And as she explained to People in this video, at 47, she's figured out how to take of herself over the years. Listing her beauty icons at Gloria Steinem, Lauren Hutton and Brigitte Bardot, the trick must be all that exercise and Cali sunshine. "We've got to really be mindful of what we put inside our bodies," she says. "And how we sleep and take care of ourselves. You can get away with a lot in your 20s."
Uh, it appears you can also get away with a lot aged 47, too. Take a look at the gallery above to see how frozen-in-time the Hollywood actress really is. Master of the 'no make-up' beauty, look, no-fuss s LBD and honey-blonde highlights - we'd say Jen has ageless beauty down to a fine art.
